Homemade cosmetics for cracked heels

To have a perfect pedicure you must care not only for your toes but also for your heels. Cracked heels can ruin your foot image and make it impossible for you to wear open shoes. The best remedies for cracked heels can be found in homemade cosmetics. Here are some of them which you can use to relieve this problem.
  1. Peppermint or pine bark brew
  2. Lavender or red cedar aroma oil
  3. Olive oil or cocoa butter
  4. Lemon, baking soda and brown sugar
First soak the feet in warm water with abovementioned brew. Dry the skin well and rub it with lemon and baking soda. Remove dead skin from problem area with a fine and then with a rougher file. Apply olive oil or cocoa butter and cover with cotton socks until completely absorbed.
Instead of the brew, you can add a few drops of lavender or red cedar essential oil. Baking soda can be replaced with brown sugar.
Repeat this procedure once a week for guaranteed smoothness of your heels.
