The Eminent Pakistani actor Veena Malik is to be featured in a Dutch documentary which is cautiously titled 'Women in Islam'. In this Dutch documentary the Pakistani actress will be talking about Islamic women called 'Women in Islam'.
The aim of this documentary is to feature important woman in from the Islamic culture and the countries selected included Qatar, India, Turkey, Morocco, Egypt, London and Holland. The documentary comprises of six episodes in which several important women from the Islamic culture are targeted. It is set in the remotest of areas in the countries and there is an episode with Veena Malik too.
The documentary centers around the belief to gain insights about the challenges and troubles the Islamic women encounter in everyday life and the age old clash between old religious customs and traditions, and modern day practices. The objective of this documentary is to educate masses and boost them to give up misconception and blind faith.
The documentary that was shot in Qatar, India, Turkey, Morocco, Egypt, London and Holland, comprises of six episodes and features many important women from the Islamic culture. It is set in the most remote areas and locations of the countries.
One episode of the documentary will be featuring Veena Malik, as she is the only Pakistani celebrity to work as a representative for the World Health Organization. During her brief stint in India, she is also involved in volunteer activities and is enthusiastically helping many children by providing them shelter homes. She is even a sponsor-mother to Payal Kamble, an 11 year old girl who was a victim of sex trade
